Would daylight saving make any difference on the CO2 production? I am convinced of it maybe we could start a campaign about it!

Perhaps it is better explained this way, as a wise old Arizona Indian chief once said when daylight savings was explained to him:

"Only a white man would believe that you could cut a foot off the top of a blanket and sew it to the bottom of a blanket and have a longer blanket."

No difference me say . Tv's will still be on, cars will still drive, fridges and computers will always be running... We just gotta change our mindsets, not chuck on another tax!

What will make us change our mindset? I've got no reason to do that.

Quite right felix. Longer days means plants photosynthesize more therefore consume more CO2. You're on a winner.

yup an extra hour of sunlight everyday would mean more time for photosynthesis

I'm pretty sure Gillard is dumb enough to buy that.

I wish I could convince all the pollies about the daylight saving issue and then we could come out of the "dark age" here in WA and have one extra hour of surfing after work!. Maybe they could give a $ 500.00 compensation to take care of the curtains fading faster with all that extra sun![}:)]
