Ambar Arianto Mulyo, 59, had offered to help capture the 4.5m long snake after it was spotted several times near the hotel in Sanur ??? Bali's resort island area.

Agung Bawa, assistant security manager at the hotel which is closed for renovations until 2015, said the python was spotted slithering across a road near the Bali Hyatt hotel at around 3am yesterday.
He said Mulyo managed to grab a hold of the snake's head and tail and had lifted it onto his shoulders to carry it away when the python wrapped itself around his body and strangled him.

Sanur... Just a poop hole really.. Full of old failed expats, running from their issues and ex partners.

I'm really suprised a wild animal was still on the island as they tend to sell or eat most things.

After just spending a week in bali (seminyak), this is very true
