I've never had the fortune of chowing down on anything I've hit on the road but wouldn't say no to it although have to say I'd stop at 2 day old cane toads. Even the crows don't go there.

PS - how clever are those bloody crows, smartest birds on the planet. Pity Kangaroos weren't as smart. A mate I know from the country a long time ago tried to determine what the minimum crow killing speed was and through some trial and error arrived at 162km.

One night coming home from the pub along a quiet country road
a little bunny wandered out in front of our ute.
We stopped imeadiately to render any assistance we could.
We placed him gently onto the tray of the ute and raced homeward.
When we got home the other guys had the lights on and the fire going,
spreading warmth throughout the shed.
Quickly we brought him into the cozy kitchen.
Within minutes we had him skinned and roasting beautifully.
Hmmm good!

I once ate some roadkill snake when i was drunk.

It was quite tasty and we were going good at it until i took too big of a bite and popped it's stomach into my mouth. That was not so good.
