Seabreeze is great. It is very Australian, covers all the wind sports and it has "Shooting the Breeze".
The land sailing section has become popular with many people from other countries because we have accumulated a wealth of technical information there.
The sailing section is similar with a great bunch of committed regular posters who have knowledge they are more than happy to share.
"Shooting the Breeze" has been described a couple of times as being like the online pub. That is a good idea and creating the "Heavy Weather" thread was a brilliant stroke from Laurie.
As you say yb "Lets all try to keep this in good spirit so it does not req a login if you get my drift

"
For me it is like "I yam what I yam, I'm Popeye the Sailor Man." and it is surprising nobody has taken that persona up yet.
But I am Cisco, O'Henry's "Robbing Hood of the Old West" except I am in the east.

Like many others here I strive to be honest, consistent, say what I mean and mean what I say.
Some threads are just "babble talk" which I avoid.
"Do you post to be heard or herd?" We all do both depending on the topic don't we??
