Is it only an Ipod you can us to play music through them or can you connect other devices such as memory stick or laptop?

Some you can some you cant, give model details and or google that sucker cos thats what I would do.

iPod connects to laptop from there you can download through iTunes,backup and sync ....etc you really need to run a laptop as well as iPad to get the most from the device.
