I'm a fan of easy food (boy food). I like pies n noodles n stuff like that. On Saturdays at lunch time I look at the clock and say "OOh, time to go to the bay". That is code for - time to go deaf to the instructions of my life coach (SWAMBO), time to throw together a speedy lunch, time to pack the gear and leave.

One of my favourites is instant noodles plus a can of tuna with lots of tobasco and maybe cheese and if I'm really hungry a raw egg as well. I also keep emergency food in the car so that I can decide whether or not to skip lunch while actually on the way to the bay. Emergency food is scrogun (peanuts, sultanas, ginger et al) and a can of tuna.

I'd really like to know what you guys do in the same situation.

In a rush to go for a sail? I don't eat at all.

However, I more than make up for it afterwards with a visit to the closest pie shop.

Toasted bread sandwich....

Take two buttered bits of toast, wack a slice of fresh bread in between and eat.

If hung over go the warm tuna thickshake. Heat a glass of milk in the microwave, put in blender, add a can of tuna, blend and enjoy

I like the sound of that. Similar idea to my sausage roll-roll. Get a sausage roll, place inside a hot dog roll, add sauce and presto. Sausage roll-roll.

Mate.... you obviously haven't tried the toased bread sandwich or sausage roll roll. I'm sure your life changed when you first tried kiting... I'm sure once you try these your life will be profoundly impacted once again!
