Just been reading about the Essendon Footy club allegedly pushing the boundaries of acceptable use of performance drugs, now facing a ban of up to two years and potentially other penalties as well, wow amazing to see one of the AFL's most popular glamour teams allegedly involved, its unprecedented in world sport, ignorance of substance intake is no excuse and the suggestion that players have had to sign waivers, what the hell were they thinking?

I'd bet the Collingwood players (my team) don't take performance enhancing drugs!

Bombers are the only team capable of taking 'supplements' and actually play worse!!

Geelong would also be sweating on the results of the investigation as the Bombers poached half of their premiership winning football department!

The current players are obviously unable to talk to the media. But Mark McVeigh spoke to SEN, he's maybe cleared a few of the media rumors up. The footy media is a bit starved right now so everything's going to have some spin.
