I am listening the doctors on RRR and they're talking about Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT).

Given the number of codgers on Seabreeze complaining about various muscular pain and injuries it might be worth taking a look at.

The internet says:

Extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) shows promising evidence for pain relief and improved function in certain musculoskeletal conditions, particularly tendinopathies and plantar fasciitis, though more research is needed to fully understand its efficacy and optimal use.

That sound like the treatment I had after a bad off damaged my shoulder. The info at the time said that the damaged area had bad blood flow, the thumps stimulated blood flow and healing. Anyway whatever it was it worked a treat. Fast and effective.
