Cool. There was a documentary made recently about aussie films from the 70's/80's called 'Not Quite Hollywood' which is worth a look just for the nudity, movies showcased Australia at it's best back then.
You are less than 35 years old? Before the more modern metal frame and glass phone boxes were installed, the Post Master General's phone boxes were those red ones. The movie producers probably bought a few red phone booths for a good price or for free as they had been pulled out by Telecom and replaced. So they are Australian coz back in the old days half of Australia was modeled on England.
