I spend a lot of time online researching techniques for building stuff, longboards, skateboards, surfboards, SUP's, kiteboards and basically anything I can try and turn my hand to. I have noticed some of the regulars on Seabreeze have made some amazing things, from beautiful timber laminated SUP's to state of the art land yachts (see the end of this post for some examples of the skills seabreezers possess) and seeing as this is by far, my favourite place to hang out I was wondering if there was any chance of having a sub forum for those of us who enjoy getting creative.
There are always going to be questions about glassing, veneers, vacuum bags, timber, materials used in construction and design characteristics, which could be discussed in the one convenient location.
Even artworks for completed projects, seeing the entries in the recent seabreeze competition were so many and varied this is testament itself to the talents possessed by seabreeze regulars.
OK, now some examples, a real quick search gave me the following:
Landboarders here on Seabreeze,

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=62941I know the land yacht forum has their own construction section as seen below, there are some amazing projects in here. Even though I know very little about the subject, the craftsmanship here is still obviously amazing, even to an untrained eye.
www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=48I'm not sure whether this has been raised before, and I apologise if it has, I jut thought it might be a cool idea.
To everyone who has undertaken their own project and shown it on here, Respect!!
