The surfing guys at rip curl want to hold a competition at gnarloo, we all know what that means. Crowds, development etc etc.
I thought a surfing company would understand why not to hold an event at a spot like this, but it appears they have lost there way, and just want money.
Sign petition, tell you friends to, family to, everyone to.
It is an amazing place, and the setting would be ruined by this.

most people dont enjoy camping with heaps of flys for to long ,most have had enough after acouple of weeks

its not like bali were you can surf all day and go back to you hotel and party all night

i love gnarloo cause i can drive there easy but if i had to fly around the world organise camping gear way to hard!

i would just go to bali and surf sic wave and party all night

yer the surf was sh## that year but the crowds have be getting bigger every year
i remember a time we would be in the carpark waiting for someone to surf with
now we are trying to find a window with only 10 or12 out
as dawn patrol said they just want to make money like any biusness
i will sign the form

dont worry spot, the window will come one day and you and a mate will be the only ones to enjoy it
