My Go-Pro Surf Hero separated from my board last Saturday at Umina Beach. Would have been an epic surf session if this had not happened.

No chance of getting it back 100+metres from the beach at the time.

FCS screw probably ran a groove all the way down to the bottom of the plug. Will have a better idea if I ever see it again.

I put the story here so that others might remember to check the fittings before taking their's out. IF I ever get another one I will screw a small stainless screw into the board and attach the "safety string" to it.
