I have my favorite slalom board 118 L. I am afraid that began to rust.
Could I make it totally from GOLD now to prevent future degradation.
How many kg of GOLD do I need to cast 118 liters ?

Yeah,.. I'll take a five kilos thanks au79.
I wont be home for most of the day so just leave it in the letterbox thanks. It should be safe there for a day or two.
And if you could clearly mark it GOLD BULLION because sometimes when I clean out the letterbox I just throw out the junk mail, and I wouldn't want to throw out the gold with it.
Oh,.. and just send the invoice to Laurie, c/o Seabreeze.com.au

Macroman, nobody is going solid gold on boards these days.
You only need a thin coating to stop the corrosion. About 1 kilo should do the job.
I've just ordered five kilos so I can send on any excess to you if you like.

Interesting. I have always wondered what the process is if I wanted to buy one ounce of gold. Like a small bar or coin.

I guess this is possible?

Just go to the Perth Mint and front up to the main counter.
You can buy as much or little as you want and walk out the door with it,.. after you pay of course.
In any case, I wouldn't be buying it now.
It's on the way down.

Hi,

I've noticed quite a few topics over several forums in regards to buying and investing in gold. I represent a company (Aussie office is in Melbourne CBD) that can provide such services. We provide investors access to both Physical Gold and Spot Gold Trading.

For more detailed information (ie. size/quantity) and up-to-date pricing, please feel free to contact me

Kind regards,Robert

Yes. I'm doing it now.
Buy up on AWC shares instead of gold.
You will make more that way.
WSA still cheap too.
Actually, there's so much stuff on the stock market now which is really cheap. In a years time everybody will wish they bought up last year when everything was being dumped.
oh,.. I forgot the rider, "Warning,.. past performance is no guarantee of future earnings"
Gee, I hope not. Past performance over the last two years has been pretty woeful!

It used to be the law that no private Joe could buy gold and take it home.
That changed some years back now and so anybody can buy it, take it home, and use it for paper weights on the lounge room table if they want.
Either that, or stuff it under the mattress. Nobody would dream of looking for it there.

or,..You can leave it at the mint if you want to, and they will look after it for you,. for a small fee of course.

Petrol is the way to go!
I filled up my car with 30l last week but didn't use it and the price went up. There is now 1 or 2 $ more in my car without doing anything!

Of course. When the world has suffered a major financial collapse, and people need to fight for food, they won't accept money or gold, they will accept silver. Don't ask me why. You can't use it for much. I suspect its because silver is cheaper for the average conspiracy theorist to buy, but don't quote me on that.

When the end of times come, the only thing I will be swapping a loaf of bread for is, a loaf of bread.
