Do cricketers thank God when they score or take a wicket? Footballers often put it down to the hand of God, but are batsmen and bowlers just a bunch of heathens?

I agree and for me yesterday was the best day of cricket i've watched.

It had everything i thought, there was plenty oh should have and could have situations but it might just have given a bit of life to test match cricket in the world of limited overs and big bash. Stokes did really well but Leach was just as important.

Smith and Labuschagne in at 3 and 4 for Old Trafford

Yep above. And let someone else be responsible for the reviews. Tim Paine got them all wrong, plus no runs. Plenty of experience in that side to Captain the bowling attack. No run wicket keeper whose an average Batsmen at the best of times, thing of the past. Give wade the gloves and play an all rounder. Need that fifth bowler.

but yeh awesome game and stokes is an incredible player.

Best session of cricket I've ever watched. Phenomenal batting, missed catch, fumbled run out, LBW review opportunity wasted, all with only one run and one wicket to go. As Bill Lawry used to say, "It's all happening."
