Watched the Geosounder come in to the Geraldton Port after finding the two ships,,,,,,what a buzzzzz ,kinda of cool as you need a FEDERAL POLICE MARITIME SECURITY INDUCTION CARD to be at all wharf/ports these days...............Teriorists/tourists not welcome.

Da euros fken started da war and pulled the wool right over the eyes of the da good natured Aussie, whom only wanted to raft up and suck pisss..........

Da Aussies died protecting the North West from the invasion.....................

Damn Euros.

How many wars in Europe the last 200 years? And if it weren't for the Romans they'd still be living in mud holes.

Damn Euros.

Yep, a sword in the hand is worth two in the bush......

Hang on, that's not what I meant. Better stop now.

<semantic quibble> They didn't sacrifice their lives. They were clobbered. If they could have avoided it they would have.

On a personal note my father in law served on the Sydney. He was bomb happy after their tour in the Med where they were dive bombed by Stukas over and over again. When they finally got back to Sydney (the town) he was posted ashore. Their very next voyage was the last one.
He's still going strong, only recently moved into a retirement home.

What would have been so bad about being invaded by the German's anyway ? They seem ok, they have a great country, strong currency and they make loads of high quality cool stuff, like cars, motorbikes, porn, audio-visual equipment etc...
