I stayed at the beachside caravan park in the summer of 97/98. It was awesome!

Had lunch at the tavern there a couple of months ago. Great food and beer was reasonably priced. A nice change from $9 beers in Perth. The place hadn't changed much in the ten years. They built a new beachside park and have signs about kitesurfing.

Have got a good tent to stay at the caravan park..for next time..
this is a bit of a recky I suppose... pub sounds good..and I know the fish and chips were pretty good about 20 odd years ago..

Well I wear a frillneck out on the water (kk)..so I don't die of cancer..
so I will at least take the fly thingo's and see what happens

I have been on the gibb river road...and would have given my errhhmm..left ear loab for a fly thingo...as you could not see out of your eyes...two at a time, .... for the bush flies wanting to make a meal out of your eye socket

but yep they are not high on my dress sense code

Ah memories I was one of the founding members back in 19......um a long time ago.
Back in the days of the old Honda Elsinore CR125.
(I was in the juniors then and wasn't allowed to ride anything bigger)

Not kidden!! The decor of the joint has come back into style at least twice since it was built. Gotta love that chunky mission brown brick!!

Some of locals look as though they have never left fromn the initial opening party, but a good vibe and nice spot for a beer or three. Reminds me of a smaller version of the Quokka Arms.

Yep I have enjoyed a beer or three at both too and they do have a similar vibe
but the Quokka Arms (Rottnest Island Hotel now according to the RIA) is not quite same as it used to be since they got rid of what was officially know as the Rotunda Bar (Chunder Bar) in the beer garden, stopped having live rock bands there and tried to go more upmarket (on Rotto yeah right) to lose the Blotto on Rotto image.
Where as the Endeavour Tavern is still the same ole Lanno Pub.

Honda Elsinore CR125...ok that is what I rode all those years ago..well on the track anyways..on the road..I had a Honda 400 4....but I am a girl..
Yep I was there in founding member time too..to many years ago to remember..
I lived on Rotto for about 3 year in the late 80's...it was an excellent place to be
Worked at the pub and all other places to.

Rotto...is an amazing place ..what an awesome experience it was..living there!!

Ok one more sleep till I get off work and hit the open road lol ...I am hoping that means all work.....but as I'm a gal I doubt it... we will see
But my lot is usually fill the dive bottles....catch the fish..and cook the bacon and eggs....hmm..dam "one power ball"

What happened to that Mira Mare place? Right next to the main jetty.
Ate there a few times a couple of years ago, was great.

Ive got news for you Zed, just near the main jetty , Lancilin Bay Resturant, was there on the weekend just gone, best food Ive ever had in Lanno & ive been going there for 20+ years.
