Health Advice for Women!!!

Do you have feelings of inadequacy?

Do you suffer from shyness?

Do you sometimes wish you were more assertive?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist about Sauvignon Blanc.

Sauvignon Blanc is the safe, natural way to feel better and more confident about yourself and your actions. It can help ease you out of your shyness and let you tell the world that you're ready and willing to do just about anything.

You will notice the benefits of Sauvignon Blanc almost immediately and, with a regimen of regular doses, you can overcome any obstacles that prevent you from living the life you want to live. Shyness and awkwardness will be a thing of the past and you will discover many talents you never knew you had.

Stop hiding and start living.

Sauvignon Blanc may not be right for everyone. Women who are pregnant or nursing should not use it. However, women who wouldn't mind nursing or becoming pregnant are encouraged to try it.

Side effects may include dizziness, nausea, vomiting, incarceration, erotic lustfulness, loss of motor control, loss of clothing, loss of money, loss of virginity, delusions of grandeur, table dancing, headache, dehydration, dry mouth, and a desire to sing Karaoke and play all-night rounds of Strip Poker, Truth Or Dare, and Naked Twister..

WARNINGS:

* The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may make you think you are whispering when you are not.

* The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may cause you to tell your friends over and over again that you love them.

* The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may cause you to think you can sing.

* The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may make you think you can converse enthusiastically with members of the opposite sex without spitting.

* The consumption of Sauvignon Blanc may create the illusion that you are tougher, smarter, faster and better looking than most people.

Please feel free to share this important information with as many women as you feel may benefit!

Now just imagine what you could achieve with a good Pinot Noir...

My favourite is the "Sombrero".

In a coctail shaker with crushed ice pour equal measures of Kahlua and Creme de Cacao. Add a measure of Mount Gay, Genuine Eclipse Barbados Rum too if you desire a quicker effect.

Add 2,3 or 4 measures of fresh cream, tightly hold the lid on the shaker while vigorously shaking for at least one minute.

Pour into champagne glasses (enough in this mix for 2 or 3 drinks). It may be decorated with a light sprinkling of choclate powder, cinnamon or nutmeg and a choclate or marachino cherry speared by a coctail umbrella.

A few of these chiquita and you will be doing ze Mexican Hat Dance, naked on ze table before you know it. [}:)]

I've got this thing on the forums, I like to think all the smart things said on this forum are actually said by real people, I find later that they've been coppied and pasted without credit, in some feeble attempt to make the poster seem more intelligent than they really are - I really hate that.

Tonight I've found two examples that blatantly ripped off content from elsewhere without any credit - as if it was said in their own words:

doggies post: www.hugedomains.com/domain_profile.cfm?d=itswineoclock&e=com

and

www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=67319 ripped directly off from here: www.boston.com/bigpicture/2010/05/disaster_unfolds_slowly_in_the.html

Is it just me that feels cheated by this?

Should it have been in calligraphy Oliver?

Er.. I thought the layout made it a bit obvious it had been copied n pasted. It's not like he said "I just came up with this" either. It's more fun for most to read the lines on SB than to follow a link usually.

For the record the funny posts I make are usually copied and the inane stoopid stuff is usually 100% mine. There was that post in 2006 I can take credit for tho.. boy that was a good day.

Think we all need some wind... and a good glass of sauv blanc (held by a hotty).

No, it should have had some reference to the source.

Doggies post: a mate sent me this, I thought I'd share...

Teatree's post: maybe a link at the bottom of his post.

Passing someone elses work off as your own is a step down from stealing.

Get a life! When I recieved it, it had no reference to who wrote it. Go and take a long walk off a short pier.

Only an idiot would not recognise them as copypasta'd.

I don't see any credit by wine o'clock there either. I'd say 99% they copypasta'd it too.

This is how the internet works

Yes.

(mind you I try to put sources when quoting stats or a link to further reading)

Funny post.

The only thing missing so far in the subsequent discussion is the obligatory accusation of discrimination or racism.
I'm sure it will be along shortly.
It's probably been delayed by a few sav blancs.

Ok maybe not a step down from stealing - cause everyone else does it.

But just cause everyone else does it doesn't mean it's good work. In my book that's LAZY posting.

What is so wrong with crediting a post - why is that so difficult?

My objection is not with the content - it's just the blatant rip off and passing it off as your own thoughts. You were obviously not smart enough to write your post so why make out that you were?

Indeed. It's just good manners.

I was at the pub the other day sidled up beside a honey and she said "Is that a gun in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?" (note: no attribution)
What was I to do? Manners demanded that I receive her utterance as the plagiarism that it was, so I said "Face it honey. You are another non thinking dud".

Boy did I show her. She wont do that again lightly. With her casual moral laxity verging on theft she missed out on a sure thing and do I care? No, not a bit, not much, hardly at all, ...

You are on the money NotWall - it's all about manners.

You will see that the post www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=67347 is written correctly. longwinded attempted to credit the source of his/her post. It's no big deal and provides readers like myself with some background to the post.

Sadly doggie's, teatreas and numerous other people don't bother with this fine detail.

That's the thing I've got about forums - sorting real from fake.
