I can't believe all the na-sayers out there.I guess people are so used to seeing bad news like wars and murder and stuff they don't know how to react to such a good news story.So they try and bring it down.Get a life i say you miserable twats.Or maybe start a new one inspired by a 16 year old legend...

We went out yesterday to watch her come in. Had a couple of big perspective hits. First one was when we got a couple of kms off the coast in what was lookin like a good 6mtr swell ( biggest I've been out in a yacht in.) To thinks she was out in over twice that in the middle of nowhere by herself, she has something special inside her to go thru that. The second one was when she was in the harbour, we were pretty close ( real sketchy on the harbour by the way) and her and my son were waving at each other, alex is 12.5 and to think she was only a coulpe of years older and she acomplished what she did is amazing. What a champion!! I don't even let alex go to the skatepark by himself!!!!

all i got on my 16 birthday was new shoes
