Only "last week" some 'protestors' here stuck hundreds (maybe thousands) of Kony signs up all over town, without a permit (didn't know they gave them out!) - stuck with some pretty good glue, the property owners that tried to remove the signs have peeled off paint, scratched signs and it's basically defaced their properties...poor souls probably only got the interweb plugged in & think they have done a good thing.

wasnt this the 'paint the night' or whatever organised event

i heard on the radio that 80,000 people replied as "going" on facebook in Sydney.. however only around 30 people were reported as having shown up to "cover the night"

Nothing quite like disinformation they do that in wars too maybe we should be looking at the president as well as his henchmen

More posters around this morning. They have the American political party animal logos, the elephant and the donkey in close proximity to each other in American red white and blue colours.

I'm not exactly sure what the posters are meant to get us to do. Are we supposed to send an email or ring up our local congressman, asking him to get onto the president to send in the marines or a SEAL team to track down and kill our old mate?

Adolf i was going to stay out of the thread as i thought it was just a joke one that was designed to poke fun at a organisation that is TRYING to help out underprivilged people through out the world. More importantly children.

But Moby's post was spot on as to what Kony 2012 was all about. Getting the word out and having poeple talk and hopefully some will be promted to help by petitioning governments to act againest a "United Nations wanted criminal".

As for making fun of me for supporting Kony you should know that i did, hell i even now have the shirts (all be it that they are either too big for me or too small for my son) Luckily my wife likes them and has grabbed them.
But whilst your at it you might also like to laugh at me for supporting other cuarses that i think important

For those that care Kony is getting a little more active again and scermeshes are breaking out in the Congo. Congress is heavily involved and now even the EU is waying into. The united nations meets again in a month and Invisaible children should be there in force.
