Words escape me.

Read and enjoy.

(Yes I'm a windsurfer but that's not the point. It's just as hilarious if you interchange kitesurfing for windsurfing)

Oh, and there's a lot more where that came from.

WARNING: If the terms "Extreme Sports" and "Adenaline Junkie" make you want to unleash violence on the marketing muppet responsible, I suggest you do not read any further.

I suppose you're tongue in cheek.

But just in case you're not...
Very many people I talk to enjoy kitesurfing because it's less work.
(As one once said: `at last a sport where I don't need to work hard").

And that's very fine, but few business really take off with 'control' alone - usually requires
a LOT of hard work, at least until you get going and get successful.
Another difference is that at kiting (and windsurfing), persevere long enough and you'll get it - guaranteed.
Whereas in business, few are guaranteed to succeed just by perseverance alone.
Perhaps 15% make it to the first year..

Are you sure you agree with the analogy ?

Sorry, I should have been clearer.

No, I really do not agree with this analogy.

Everything about this is so astonishingly bad that I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to offer a critique because I'm laughing so hard.

How about we substitute kites and kiting with cars and driving? I have control of the car, I can control my life. I use the accelerator, brakes and the steering wheel, I am a leader!

Exactly.

I've been trying to come up with a worse analogy to demonstrate how bad the analogy is, and I am seriously struggling.
