what is going on....I just returned to my winter getaway and I get the news my beer drinker sundowner mate committed suicide with a gun to the head about 4 months ago in his land cruiser not far from his dwelling and lovely lady girlfriend. It seems to be a common trend these days? If you have these thoughts please talk to someone as you only have as far as I know one life!

I don't understand why! They where turning over close to a million per year ....was a hard worker with a good outlook on life. The stil alcohol contraption has been disposed off I wonder if that full prof Whisky had something to do with it. So much for six foot tall and bullet proof!

Tough news southace. Happens to far too many good guys.

What the outside world sees may be very different to what goes on behind the scenes.

+1 for the condolences Southace, but I think Clarence and Loggy have hit the nail on the head. You just can't see sometimes what is going on, and I think it's a bad trait us blokes have in feeling we need to be strong and fix everything.
