With a majority in both federal houses of parliament the US Democratic party will spend the next two years:
a) Making the world a better place, reducing US federal deficits and heralding in a new era of global peace and stability
b) Unrelentingly pursuing Trump, his family and anyone they decide to associated with him with impeachments, investigations, court cases and anything else they can use very large sums of tax payers money for to seek maximum political and personal pain upon, as Trump and his supporters are the true enemies of everyone.
IDK, I just hope we move on from the nasty division of left/right and can work towards a more egalitarian society.
Is that too much to ask?
