You can't go wrong with flowers and maybe a pair of slippers for winter.

Besides a g banger i would choose somthing productivly uselfull and an item she will never leave home without.

Option 1
1)A garden gnome I give them to everyone
If there was anthing id want in the world it be THE garden gnome.
give them to your kids give them to adolecents infact a garden gnome is the worlds most favoured gift.
Last year i gave mum a garden nome doing cooking.
The year before that i gave mum a garden nome doing washing.
Even a big hit as a wedding gift

Icouldnt think of a more useful present can you.
You can even get her grandkids to paint it.

option 2
2)big mouth billy bass fish there allso so verstile and usefull i wouldnt leave home without one.

Flowers, hug, peck on the check and a couple hours of your undivided attention.

If you really want to go overboard make her breakfast (make is the key word - not buy) - homemade scones a dead easy to make.

This is what I'll be getting mine.
It will just be on a card, with the software installed on her computer and all photos available to her.
I'll sit down with her, show her how to use it, then order it and bingo... It will be after Mothers Day, but it take a bit to organise it.

Davmen, I only see My mum once a year or so cause of distance. Its always so hard to buy em something they really like, want, need with out them telling you what they want.
THis year I going for another angle- I plan on getting a few photos enlarged and framed . hope it does the trick.........

Framed photos - great idea

So was the KA43 BBQ suggestion, but my evil sister has already hijacked my mother for the day.
