In the wake of the tabloid train wreck that is the Toronto mayor I was reminded of a cable tv produced comedy that i saw only two episodes on a long haul flight - I have often wondered if I could track it down.....and now with the help of the seabreeze community.....well who knows....
The show centred on a bumbling unprincipled wannabe local government politician. In one ep his rival was funding some charity ride event so our buffoon whips his own sham event up and the episode descends into farce as the charity " rider" and our pollie are trying to get media mileage.
The second ep saw his rival working with the homeless - not to be outdone our man sleeps rough and ends up boozing and doing crack only to have his appearance on morning television go horribly wrong as he is tweaking off his nut.
