Need to phrase requests in a polite format. ie "I think it would be good if you could group photos into collections."

It's not as obvious how to get gallery images into the forums now... perhaps that's intentional

hey looks good one thing I found as a problem is the share button is not linked to anything so it is a useless button! It might be a Safari Problem like the Competitions that don't work with Safari.

Cheers for that .. share button was broke, and now works with Safari.

Two ways.

1) Click the "Add an image to my message" link when writing a post.

2) Click the newly fixed "share" button above an image, which has the img tags you need...

Doh .. shall have to get that bit reinstated. Meanwhile see the famed "share" button in mentioned above, to work out how to get to the img tag.

Or ... direct peoples to your personal gallery!

Can't believe Location went missing. I'm off to kick some butt! Just can't hire good help any more!

The others are still there, kind of inferred by the extra links available e.g. "Windsurfing in WA" means it's in the windsurfing category, and this photo was in WA.

And here's me thinking you were robots from the future.

Ok, I think it would be grand if you could add one more layer/key to provide for collections/groups/sets of photos. An optional field when uploading multiple photos called 'Collection', same as the 'Caption' and 'Location' fields.

This way when posting up a bunch of photos from a day the poster can add a link to the collection/group/set.

Would be great, if possible, to have next/previous buttons to be able to scroll through the set.

... next movies? On second thought the youtube embedding is already perfect

(side note, it took me 2 minutes to see the shiny red 'Upload' button for photos. Weird)

Being all polite doesn't seem appropriate from an EvilPander?

Tags/Collections are much needed. For your next/previous - see where it says "Recent Uploads from ...." .. there are 5 images .. displayed one is in the middle, and next/previous either side - click on them (please).

Just one point, and I only just looked at the new format, and Angi Pangi photo of Dolphins came up
How about a forward and back tab in the actual central photo, for us point and click dummies Same with the photo group to the side, I don’t go the auto move one frame at a time thing wotcha, as I have to wait til what I may have just missed, to scroll right through to find it. (maybe that’s two point lozza)

I did like the original system and wont ask why you changed it, I couldn’t handle the jargon you will come back with

Kind of along the same vein as Mineral. If I wanted to change say, the location of a group of pics taken at the same time, I need to go the long way around each time, instead of just going to the next piccy. I have to go back to my uploads and remember which of my 16 pages its on and pick out the next one. Unless I had a blond day.

You'll see a red box around a picture in the photo group on the top right. The images to the left & right are the "back" & "forward" buttons you seek .. (I hope)

Does the above help for you also? The next/previous is not immediatelly obvious, but once you get the hang of navigating via thos three photo groups, you can waste hours viewing lots of visual candy!!

Enjoy..

Hi Laurie, no still dont like the auto one page slide thingy, still would like a forward and back tab as per this site forward and back tab.http://www.scorpshots.com/gallery/7067284_TTHmN#452835614_9ACRK
Look I understand you have to keep evolving, but when we log onto a photo section that's all we like to see, just that, its evolved into just a teeny weenie bit to over complicated page now. (no malice intended, just not my cup of tea)
No dont like change much either

Dear Laurie,
Please please can you remove the right click option on the images. I have had an instance of a commercial enterprise taking one of my images and using it without my permission or acknowledgement in a Sale flyer. It actually printed up pretty well considering the size. I thought I was safe because they were all under 100k but not so. Silly me. I would have thought people in the commercial world would respect copyright and also me as a person, friend and artist. If something is worth stealing, its worth paying a small fee. Photographers also need to eat. Also Laurie, you used to have the words copyright next to the image. Can this be put back. I know my other option is to put a great big copyright over the image and I mostly do this, but sometimes have little time and also I dont like to spoil the images. My other option is to post no photos and remove the ones on the gallery.

I assume you've used google image search?

http://images.google.com.au/images?q=windsurfing

You can even search within seabreeze.com.au (bypassing right-clicks/copyrights/...)

images.google.com.au/images?&q=site:seabreeze.com.au+windsurfing

My point being, is that if they want it, they'll take it. Only a big fat picture ruining watermark can stop it.

Considering that google windsurfing image search returns 1.6 million images, and they chose your photo, one good thing you can walk away with is flattery!

My other option is to post no photos and remove the ones on the gallery.

Consider this... "Is sharing my images on seabreeze.com.au costing or rewarding me?"

People really like your photos, and the name of a photographer "Susie Burgher" is spreading...

Don't know whether to be flattered or what, but just now, the only windsurfing photos on the cover page are mine. I'm sure there are much more deserving pics there.
Actually think I feel a bit embarrassed.

Don't forget screen grabs. If you can see it on the screen you can take it.
