Is it just me or do the North Head readings (NSW) always seem a little low? Seeing as last night I was out (at Manly) between 6 and 8pm on a 6.2m almost completely overpowered - and the graph says it was only 15 knots at that time.

Does anyone know where the reading is taken and should I look at the harbour graph for a better indication of wind strength?

It always seems about 5 knots less than anywhere else - has anyone else noticed this?
