Activity: hazard to navigation - underwater obstruction
Mariners are advised that a robotic submarine has been lost, last seen just below the surface of
the water on Friday, 25 November 2011 east of Moreton Island, 1.3 NM north of Henderson
Rock, in approximate position latitude 27° 06.6' S, longitude 153° 29.2' E.
The device is made up of dual yellow hulls, two metres long and 1.5 metres deep. The device
also has an emergency beacon which quick flashes twice every three seconds.
