People who pronounce nuclear "nuke-u-lar"..
It's "new-clear" people - come on!

Especially when those people are on TV spreading ignorance to the masses..

Dude, take the top ply, unwrap it one loop of the roll so it's now the bottom ply, then see if they line up...

News readers who say "At the Weekend"
It's "On the weekend" !!!!

Yeh, Nah

Same type of complaint, when news hounds say a "bull dozer" did XYZ, when any sane person can see it’s a bloody Front end Loader with a bucket fitted too it.
A bull dozer is the dirty great push BLADE thing fixed to the push arms, that fits up to a track type tractor or a rubber tyre tractor. Get it right, you news ZYLOOMS[}:)]

Are you talking about that BACKHOE/loader on the news the other night
often incorrectly refered to as a DIGGER

Wasn’t but yes, same thing, blasted boof headed media managers.
Added to that, I channel flick yesterday and cross over channel 2 and what does some smart arsed Aussie nature program presenter refer to the variety of marsupial animals in Australia as, “various critters.” What a slow learner
News flash foolish one, they are animals, not unlike you[}:)]

Ancient 1980's windsurfing pictures used in advertising brochures. Like when they put a picture on a tv screen in a Harvey Norman catalogue.
I know it's because of the colours etc. and been covered before but it still annoys me...

Having to mark up the same stupid changes on 20 drawings because if I only mark them up on the first 5 the trainee drafter will only change the first 5.

Engineers who think that putting blue LEDs on high end audio equipment is a good idea.

Engineers who, instead of using a simple $0.02 resistor, use a convoluted system of pulse width modulation to limit the brightness of new car taillights... which slams lots of bright red dots all over everyone's retina when they're driving behind one of these 'special' newer cars (high end Holden, medium end VW etc)

Eg:

12/31/2008 .... aarrgggh they mean 31st of December. 2008/12/31 or 31/12/2008 make sense, but not their mixed up way.

Kansas vs Arkansas

The way they butcher foreign words..... Mr Weinstein becomes Weensteen.
Craig seems to be pronounced Kreg ..... we've got it all wrong. I wonder if there is a Craig Weinstein in the USA (poor bvgger)
