Looks like prices have barely moved in a decade. With Perth going off, and being by the sea, just maybe this town is about to BOOM!

Yeah, I bought that place. $75k is a big price to pay, but it's worth it.

Properties in Port Gregory are 'tightly held'.

One thing I find funny about Perth, as an outsider, is that they think their property market is Sydney or Melbourne, or worse, better than either Sydney or Melbourne.

When I went looking for a house to buy there were so many people hoping to make back the same purchase price they paid in 2001, 2010 or 2018. The dates are not quite that, but you get the gist. In each successive boom, prices have tailed off for the next decade, back to what they were before the boom. So many people paid top dollar for houses at the peak of these booms and were just hanging on to get out of it at the price they paid initially.

There is just so much land available around Perth that it keeps a bit of a ceiling on house prices. I suspect we will see the exact same thing as pressure from over-immigration backs off and people get over the Covid inspired spending boom and we get back to a normal recession/slowdown.

But Port Gregory is a winner in all times.

Sorry, but I'm calling BS on that.

I heard the UN was buying up all the houses.

They had an agent doing it. No sorry, scratch that, they had a broker with an agenda.

Why hasn't the U.N. snapped up this gem? Been on market since Jan 2021?

This deceiving 'forever home' has the pink lake is on its doorstop and is 700m from the beach.

Looks like it has plenty of windows.

Maybe Flysurfer will be interested.

He's been attempting to replace some windows for three years now. I can't understand why he hasn't snapped this place up, it's got lots of them.

What makes you actually think it's still for sale? We, I, someone has bought it and running the ad just makes people think that things are all going along as normal. By keeping the listing and making it overpriced, it is discouraging anyone from coming here and finding the changes that have happened to Port Gregory in anticipation of 'the thing'. Either that or an investor from Sydney tries to buy it sight-unseen.

We/I/they are quite flexible. If investors pay crazy prices for Port Gregory, we can find another place to start the total world domination from.

I bet there's an old hard drive sitting in a draw in that shed containing all of the posts that Bono demanded be deleted from his profile when he left seabreeze.com.au.

Not sure something that large would fit in a draw. I'm guessing if you peered through the shed window it would look more like this :

O.M.G.

Yeah, but no, but yeah, but no, but....

Are you suggesting that was one of Bono's architecturated houses ?

One of his finest works, contextualised within its contemporary setting, a space of kitsch styling and retro features ?

Maybe that was where he learnded about steel buildings and engineering and stuff. I can see now perhaps the seabreeze-araty misjudged his superior knowledge.

So, you have already bought in Port Gregory, as per the original question, or have you decided to wait?

It's not one of these pump-and-dump things like bitcoin is it and you really have quite a few properties in Port Gregory?

Last week i was picturing myself at Coros beach near Geraldton after watching some of your videos.

Tabou Rocket 105 and 5.4 slalom sail sailing mostly on the inside where it looks quite smooth. Maybe one day.

The beach and the water look amazing so not surprised the house prices have risen there.

I've been there once.
