What I hear from tradie mates is the rich are the worst for not paying.
How to get rich - don't pay, make whingey vexatious complaints re: service or quality and refuse to pay, step on the little guy etc.
So being slack with paying the school for edumacating little Winston and Elizabeth - par for the course.

On the contrary many parents bust their guts put their kids through private school many working two jobs, sacrificing many luxuries and generally going without to get their kids through..... I imagine sometimes the bills just overwhelm them and they can't pay....
It's not an excuse and it should be regarded as any other unpaid debt should be.... However I highly doubt many if any deliberately don't pay.

yep , worst customers to pay their overdue accounts are always the ones with the money.
had a customer couldnt pay as he needed the money to put on his horse. when the horse came through and he got the big win , he still wouldnt pay, then i had to stand at his door and park behind the lexus when he wanted to take the kids to school. time taken to recover debt was the equivalent to 4hrs lost income

And the funny thing is that parents don't realise you don't need a private education for your kid to turn out well. All they need is a good upbringing and work ethic and that guess who teaches that, the parents.

early on working for myself I helped out the down and out brother of a good customer by having him do some work. the job was a fixed price which he did well and on time. then kicked up a stink when he had to come round to pick up the money, then moaned that he was underpaid. .At the time I thought to myself , now i know why hes got no work.
the next time I turned up to do a Job for his sister I got told to **** off. then shortly after a business that was associated with them also told me not to come back. being an industrial estate it took about 5 years before I worked in that area again, which is about how long it takes bussinesses to move or go bust. one idiot cost me a few thousand in lost business
