Yes, RIP.
Tom Waterhouse says that if it passes "the sniff test", he will hold a tote for it.
Regarding "the sniff test". Something doesn't smell right here. It's kind of hard to fall off a balcony. It seemed to have happened early on the trip too...
Fell, pushed, thrown, jumped... Who knows. Just smells a tiny bit fishy at the moment.

That should have been a ripper of a footy trip! Footy trip of a lifetime. You would remember a footy trip to Vegas for a lifetime. Those boys would be shattered and numb.
His parents will wake up tomorrow wondering if it was just a bad dream... Horrible.

A few extra details are slowly emerging.
Seems that he had been drinking a fair bit, which is reasonable enough, for an end of season footy trip! There is mention of being refused entry to a night club.
They are starting to say that he tried to leap onto a palm tree. Reading between the lines, he might have been trying to escape "a venue", potentially trying escape from security or similar...(?)... Or just plain drunk... seemed like a good idea at the time...
Terrible, no matter what.
I know what the strip is like... It's just wall to wall casinos and clubs...
Personally, I would have ended up at Hooters Casino (on East Tropicana Ave) at that hour, and if refused entry, I would just happily walk home drunk, and sleep!
They were staying at Hard Rock, on East Harmon Ave. Both of these streets run into the Main Drag, Las Vegas Boulevard.
He ended up near the Main Intersection of Las Vegas Blvd and East Flamingo Rd. Set around this intersection is Bellagio, Caesars Palace, Flamingo, and Bally's. It's a real buzz of activity around there, 24 hours a day.
Las Vegas should be on your Bucket List (seriously no pun intended, and I mean seriously). It's a funny old joint.
Damn shame what happened.
The footy players would get anonymity there. They just needed a better "code of conduct". 4 man buddy system and stick together, and a 3am curfew.
