The row boats left Geraldton on Sunday 19th ,it was great to see them preparing prior to departing.I cruised around on the old school windsurfer after tacking up from St Georges , i followed them for 5km out to sea in a light 1O knot seabreeze, untill there was only a few boats scattered around over 2km square area (Really surreal what was going on).
The night before i watched the doco on ABC about the bloke trying to get accross from Tassie to New Zealand in his kayak. TO full on.
The website they have got up is a ripper ................ Great links to wind and swell and synoptic chats. Position Tracking etc
