Hi
Are there any fellow Model Aircraft Enthusiasts out there?

I crash lots of Helis on my simulator. Many heli pilots at our club.

I fly electric gliders and aerobatic Pattern Aircraft.

It's funny thing crashes, as I can't fly planes without wanting to crash them. I fly them OK but get lazy with them and then try doing stupid things like loops through trees. If I fly safe I just get tired of them.
With my heli's I have not had a crash in 9 years of flying. I have had half a dozen hard landings but in all those only managed to chip a blade and still kept flying. I have always had 60 and 90 size ships that were a bit big on dollars to fix so thats most likely the reason from keeping them out of the dirt. But have had terrible failures from servos going on the blink, flame outs, out of fuel, clunk falling off,striped main gears and tail rotor aurthority issues and always managed to get the thing down on the skids.
Love my choppers but something sweet about balsa at high speed through the branches brings a smile and laugh.

yeah i got one... been fixed up so many times... more super glue than plastic holding this baby together.... chase my daughter up and down the driveway... when that gets dull, I switch to one of my cars for a laugh...

I have not yet ventured in the world of helicopters, but it sure looks like fun.

I am conviced that my electric powered gliders have a tree magnet installed in them!

hey hunglong,
are the blades on the heli (dragonfly) able to do any damage (eg cut off fingers, gouge eyes, etc) if it were to be flown into someone, or crashed in a crowd?
