All jokes aside, quicker the rate is generally a sign of how much of an alcoholic you are. I had a work mate who was a bad pissy, he would literally skull those first couple of pints when we went to the pub. Something that has always stuck with me. Always try and slow it down.

But yeah, driving, 1 can 30min, four cans Perth to home

Yep. Cripes pints too. I drank pints for a while was in th UK. There was an ale called Old Speckled Hen (if i remember correctly). It was about 7 or 8% or thereabouts. That stuff had quite a low rate of 1 per hour.

Furthest i ever drive daily is about 5km that goes too quickly for beer...

Around 20 to 30 minutes for the first, I rarely have a second. More than one and I don't sleep well that night. I really enjoy the first, but usually lose the taste for the second one before I'm halfway through it.

I am confused as 30 cans in the boxes of beer I buy.
Must be covid lock down beer as the days seem longer.

Agree, home brew here so if on a good session beer or kolsch on a hot summers day can go to three or four over a few hours

Probably was. Too many to come back and check on this thread at least.

Just cracked the first Saturday arvo beer now. Does it count as drinking alone if your dogs are in the backyard with you? I'd blame lockdown but really this is me on a normal Saturday too.

Does anyone else have a beer in the shower?

After session shower of course, not the before work shower.

Have you tried Heineken zero??

Great taste and have as many as you like at the pub and not worry about DUI.

Yeah but sort of takes the zing out of it a bit. I understand alcohol free beer and even have it occasionally but generally the idea IS the alcohol in it.

Love the after session beer but not generally in the shower. Will try next time I'm allowed go out for a session.

I don't care too much about the alcohol and really like the bitter refreshment of beer. Does it really taste like a proper beer?

if that's the Heineken being drunk at a party the other week, seems to copy beer well.
Beer in the shower?, Well I'm quite partial to one in the bath. Picked up that habit overseas. Had one in there just now as a matter of fact.

The Heineken 0.0 is not bad especially for a counter meal where you have to go back to work, some pubs sell it on tap.

But as a mate said to me; it's like going to a brothel and sitting down for a chat, or perhaps just spooning...
