Im a young designer in Melbourne who is doing a project that requires old or unwanted sails of anykind!! If you live in an area close by and have any sails you dont want I would love to hear from you..

try the recycling centres closer to the coast, they often have a few piles. the folks here on seabreeze are really great when it comes to helping. weve built many a landyacht with the recycled offcuts
You might try going into your nearest windsurfing shop and telling them your story. They may have a few old sails that are never going to be sold due to their age that they may let you have for nothing or next to nothing.
