Hi guys just wondering whether you use siri on the iPhone very often I think it's a great feature makes typing far easier because you can just speak straight into the phone in fact that's what I'm doing right now, a type free message on Seabreeze

"Do these jeans make my but look big?"
"Did you fart?"

Considering voice recognition has been around since the 1950s Siri is a pretty poor system. Dragon, one of the big names in computer based voice recognition has been in the game since the early 80s. It's not an easy thing to do, but Siri is one of those technologies that is still a gimmick. And by that I mean it is not more efficient than doing it manually. It's very prone to errors. You have to speak in a certain voice and tone and speed for it to get close to accurate and that's not taking into consideration words it struggles with, as in words that sound similar. And if there's any ambient noise you're stuffed. I have used it when driving for sending texts and it's not too bad, but considering the error rate, if I wasn't driving I would just text normally. You can send a long text via Siri and it's spot on, then you text "see you sunday" and it comes up with same nonsensical crap. It's too unreliable and inconsistent.
