It was the only bacon and cheese pie in the warmer, I had to dig to find it in the freezer this morning.

There's a handful of newbies on the crew at the moment, but they've still been on site long enough to know that if they want a pie they have to bring it frozen from the mess in the morning and put it in the pie-warmer themselves. Like I did today.

Should I?:

a) Steal someone elses (inferior) pie.
b) Write a nice reminder and hang it above the pie warmer.
c) Write a nasty threat and hang it above the pie warmer.
d) Do nothing except post this rant here.
e) some combination or all of the above, or something else entirely?

thats low!!!
you shouldnt have to go through the nitemare of eating and inferior pie, i myself have sometimes had to suffer that fate as the pies they sell at school are very inconsistant

but i agree , all of the above then find out who the bastard is and steal his pies

Hmm, laxative, a cunning plan. A plan so cunning you could pin a tail on it and call it a weasel. I wonder where I can find some of that...

Screw the laxative.
I would go straight for the mercury, then just look for a dead body, and THERE's your culprit.

No you need to put a new pie in the warmer and watch who steals it, then go kill his kids and mince them up and put them in the pie. Then sit back and watch tha theiving hussy eat his own kids!

make the pie warmer "your own". I once worked on large site with multiple hot water urns along a wall in the smoko room. Tad Pajowski a pipe welder made one of these urns his own by immersing a large polish sausage into the steaming water at 6 am, every day, suspended by a welding rod. He would nip down just before the masses arrived for smoko and hook it out, as all the others were turning up and sitting down, inventing new torments for the apprentices smoko boys. Tad would sit there and slowly tuck into that sausage with a bottle of mustard and some bread.
No one new why but NO one made coffe or tea from "tads" urn, because it tastes weird. But no one ever twigged it, untill a BLF (CFMEU) bloke caught him out one mornig and tried to pull a 24 hour for demarcation. However Tad explained he wasn't filling the urn, (why would he?) he was just installing his daily sausage.

I've had TWO pies now from the Miami Bakery that were UNCOOKED.
My first MB pie was delish followed by two undescribable disapointments.

My Fav pies are firstly the shepherds pie from Lancelin bakery, then a close second is the steak and mushroom from Dunsborough bakery, third is probably Mrs Macs, any filling.
I love pies, pies and Guinness, a meal fit for royalty

The steak pie at Rotto Bakery is right up there as well. Tried the Ned Kelly down in Denmark as the tourist info stuff said they were good. It really is one of the better pies you can get. Definately wasn't disappointed.

Pies should have their own section on this forum.
And different sub-sections underneath that..

And there should be a special section for pictures of pies in various states of undress..

GreenPat, have you contacted the POLICE about your stolen pie. I'm sure they wouldn't take kindly to PIE STEALERS in JAIL!!!

Good reason for taking up kiting, well, for some it may be the only one, after checking out choiceys shop in spearwood, go next door and get yourself a pie, its a butcher who makes his own pies and sausage rolls etc. do it, they are the best, forget anything else around perth.

Curry pie from Lano is the best ever, not all sloppy and busting out the back, not too curryish, no surprise arteries or gristle just as youre getting into it. Keep up the good work guys.
I think Miami bakery is a little overrated

O yeh, have'nt tried the butcher next door to Choiceys but must give em a go. That place is always busy and is heaps closer than Lano to get a QUALITY pie fix.

Although the steak and pepper pie at lancelin bakery is worth mudering for, I have known pies there to put people on the toilet for long periods of time. Its a pitty the front bakery closed down, the staff were more visually appealing too.
