In the spirit of the event formerly known as Mambo and the legendary Hookstock, Kite & S.U.P Mag has organized the St Kilda Fest Showdown to take part of Week of the Wind this year.

Kiteboarders and Stand Up Paddle boarders of all abilities are welcome to join in the fun at St Kilda Beach on Feb 12 and 13.
Over $5,000 in prizes are up for grabs; including a Katani electric skateboard, Coreban Stand up Paddle Board, a trip to Fiji, a Kahuna longboard and heaps more.
It all begins on Saturday February 12 at noon to determine the fastest surfer on water in the Coreban 3km and the SUPB sprint.
The action then moves to the air in the afternoon with the Katani Big Air, Kiter Power Downwinder race, Kiter Republic Kiter X course race and Cabrinha Old School v New School.
Throughout the weekend, kiters and SUP paddlers who ride the most will be up for two awards the Stonker sickest move shootout and the SHQ Style awards.
Thousands of dollars worth of prizes are up for grabs for kiters and surfers of any ability. Get involved and come down to St Kilda for a slice of the action and the chance to win a prize.
