I have an older version - haven't played the latest release.

Its ok, but there are lots of quirks with it that just make it a little too annoying to play frequently:
- network/internet hookup never ever worked (and I'm a programmer for a living...).
- menu options are not intuitive; once you work them out, they are far too limited.
- texture quality is pretty ordinary for the type of hardware that it is running on.
- audio ain't that great
- no decent ability to control the technical aspects to the gear (eg: different sail sizes are all treated the same).

Some good points:
- if the games was transfered onto the xbox / ps3, the game controller would be well suited to that kind of contol.
- the game as it stands would work really well with the Wii controller and would match its processing power.

I will be updating to the latest version (when I remember to think of it...) as the cost isn't that bad for a game.

Just got the NeilPryde inside line issue 41 in my inbox and there is a link to the demo, featuring Kauli using the fly.

Its a bit lame, but made me smile
