Hi all
Well - new to windsurfing still. Have had a loan of Windsurf Tasmania'a beginners board which has been awesome. Spent a lot of time falling in and having a ball.
What next? Would love advice on the next step up.
I am 5ft 1 and weight about 60kgs. Partner is 5ft 8 and is 75 kgs. Wish to buy something second hand that we can both use.
Live in Hobart and would rather buy locally.
Any suggestions?
Thanks

The next step up is most definitely kitesurfing.
I suggest you switch now before you commit.

^^^ Why KD? - Just because maryd mentioned the word 'partner' you assume they are a ghey couple, therefore good candidates for kitesurfing?

Starboard Go 130L

Seeing as though u r both light you could conceivably have learnt on a 130L (as long as it had a centreboard) - now you have the basics down pat I reckon that would be ideal

... which makes 'em quite easy to sell off for a good price when you graduate. JP and others have equivalent board genres also.
