Yes, I am aware that Lady Bay/Lady Jane Beach is a nudist beach. <Rolls eyes at sea-breezers who are smirking about the location, rather than the illegal taking of an expensive CF kayak>
A Kayak was stolen from Lady Jane Beach (just inside South Head on Sydney Harbour), early Sat 19th Jan.
It is assumed someone paddled it away from the beach or perhaps set it adrift while the paddler went for a walk.
It is a black Carbon Epic kayak, with a Murray Marathon sticker. Approx 4 metres and 20kg.
The stolen kayak was seen on the back of an old ute with a flat tray (maybe Hilux or Rodeo), driving away from Camp Cove (Watsons Bay) at about 6.30 Saturday morning.
There was a tyre in the cockpit to keep it in place because of the lack of cradles and ties.
