Maybe it's a reflection of the amount of cultural diversty within the acting community. If you watch sbs or abc there are plenty of shows promoting the multiculturalism of australian society. Actors from all backgrounds are give the chance to pedal the wares.
Maybe commercial television is a relfection of the boardrooms that run them.
Maybe the share holders don't want to gamble on racy or controversial programs the would go against the culture of white/anglo australians.

I ask myself the same question about taxi drivers and staff in 7-11 stores.

It seems every few years there seems to be a distinct paradigm shift in the racial make up of workers.

Personally, I'd be happy for Australia to take more boat people - I reckon Burmese would look awesome 7-11 and taxi uniforms.

I watched a show called undercover boss...

At the start and end of show,A Place In The Sun,just love how they show a plane spewing out those 'lasting' trails.

Gave our TV's away about a year ago, don't miss 'em one bit. Actually I do miss the cricket a bit but that's about it.
