Does any one know if you can pay your taxes Monthly instead of weekly? As I'am working two weeks on and two off. Getting hammered with taxes the first two weeks, Need to spread it out.

It comes out of your pay... so no, unless you start getting paid weekly?

If you earn a lot you will pay a lot of tax, that's just how it works, and I don't like it either.

On the up side if you pay too much tax as the year wears on, you get it back at the end of the year.

So you just need to change your spending habits........

have a chat to a good accountant. between super, gearing, trusts and other stuff there are ways of easing the burden.
if you can assess your income over a future 12 month period (july to june) the accountant might be able to average the payments for you and organise it with you and the ato and employer.
