Is it just me, a high school dropout who can see as plain as the proboscis on my face that sustained growth is not actually sustainable.
The surf is crowded, the roads are crowded, the world population is exploding.
Humankind i facing the biggest threat to our existence but if you turn on the news
or just watch TV, everyone seems oblivious to our impending doom.
What I'm really saying is that God I hate reality Tv.
The Block. Don't get me started on the block.

The answer is -

Move to a less populated area...and stop whining about this myth that "we are overpopulated"!

In reality - humans are parasitic beings that have a habit of congregating in small built-up areas (called 'cities')...then whinge that there are too many people in the world. In reality - there are too many people where you choose to inhabit.

Go country...you'll never look back.

Edit - sustained growth is sustainable...we just need to reassess the whole 'protect life' theory...
...and sterilise bogans & ferals!

Perth has grown bout 10 percent a year for ten years ( from prior year) house prices are through the roof, it's 16 bucks plus for a pint at the pub , the spot is in the street directory with a van selling hotdogs on weekends if you can get a car park to buy one, with every ****wit acting like a local ( I've surfed there for 15 years and don't pull that ****) rental properties in available unless you pay more than a mortgage. Food prices through the roof, utilities power has water increasing 4 x the CPI.
One dam in Perth and a desal plant that cost squill ions which still won't be enough in 5 years if population growth doesn't slow down. Foreign investment buying dairies, land, and farms. predicted global food shortage in developed countries by 2030......And last but not least endless **** reality tv shows all mind numbing dribble coming out of the box of lies....

The problem is people get congratulated for bring new mouths, and traffic jammers in to the world.

If people just said "OMG not another one", instead "Oh what a beautiful baby, congratulations, have some more and invite me to the baby shower".

Or if people were told the truth about having babies, you know like the cigarette ads... this little bub, is going to cost a lamborghini, and for that money he's going to sh!t on you, puke on you, piss on you, make you take him to the dr., potentially lose your job or at least the promotion, scream in the middle of your dream with Jenifer, and drug you with oxytocin so you become a slave, after that he'll probably grow up to hate you, or ask you for money until you die.... you get the picture.

Of course that doesn't seem to be the case, cos why would these (http://womansday.ninemsn.com.au/lifestyle/truelifestories/8296503/australias-biggest-family-15-kids-and-counting) people have 15!?
Are they getting high on the kids?
