So many questions...! Why has she got a pink Kalashnikov? And why are they all in the bath? Why does she have a peace sign on her trousers?
And what is... or what was... that animal?!?!

Shes a survivalist. Shes demonstrating how to survive a military attack on her home. She grabs the baby and the dog and hides in the bathtub which is probably in an ensuite from where they sleep. Its the best place to be in an explosion or if someone throws a grenade in as the metal tub will protect from shrapnel. Then when they come to get her she is waiting for them with the guard dog (it looks like some sort of greyhound cross) and her weapon which is not a kalashnikov but a semi-auto 22 magnum. A good girls gun so obviously she got hers in that color. I wouldnt read too much into the peace sign.

Yeah that'd be right. Telstra!!!
Since they don't make 1 or 2 cent coins anymore you would think they could have at least offered a 2 cent discount.
With the rounding it still would cost the same. $149.00 !!
But they were too mean to even do that.
No wonder they are losing market share.
No wonder their share price is dropping through the floor.
The odd thing is, I think they are genuinely surprised.

Oh how I lament for the days when having a skin full of tattoos would well forth the connotations of the freedom loving easy rider ethos; the battle scarred social renegade; the sea hardened salt weary salior; the career criminal or the guy who just really loved his mum.

Once upon a time these were people who genuinely deserved the intrigue, the nervous lowered eye respect and the extra few feet of personal space when passing.

These were the people our mothers would warn us to avoid and be careful of.

I guess they are still to be avioded and wary of...... but I cannot think but feel for somewhat completely different reasons.

Ladies and Gentlemen, there is no law against this type of person remaining in or contributing to the gene pool.

Think about that

I can hardly read that. Does it say White Sex? If it does, why the bloody hell would you want that tattooed in a crooked line across your back? I think I'm getting old . . . . .

And apparently there is a very good reason for the outfit, I sent this to my sister who works for the Met office in the UK and got this reply;

Very funny!!
I worked on a project a few years ago which was being chaired by a chap from Bergen. We had a little competition every year to guess the winter rainfall (this was not unrelated to the project - honest!). There's a local joke - a tourist asks a local boy if it ever stops raining. "I don't know, replies the boy, I'm only twelve.
2006/7 was exceptional even by Bergen standards - rain every day from 29th Oct to 21st Jan (I got the dates from the wiki page but I remember a colleague, Katya, who'd just moved to Bergen from Germany, being pretty fed up!)
