Up at 6am this morning to the pure joy of my beautiful 8yo daughter finding a note from Santa, (still very much the believer).

After getting a surfboard and a scooter and numerous other gifts her favorite of all is a picture of Rudolph that Santa left with his note, priceless. Now off to scoot around the neighborhood but would love to hear what joy others have had...

Merry Christmas and wind, swell, glass or fish to all

5YO Grandson staying over, woke me at 7 to take me by the hand and out the front door to show me that the Reindeer had eaten most of the carrots, and dropped top ends in the tub of water he had left out for them. Bloody huge

Christmas day morning through the eyes of a child. Nothing can best that I recon.

My son has not been allowed anywhere near his fully automatic Nerf gun yet. Should I let him have a turn?

Merry Christmas (not "happy holidays") everyone

After spending a month in Intensive Care on death's door, seeing my dad sitting at the head of the table, with a stupid Christmas hat on his head, smiling, joking, laughing...surrounded by the chaos of my family...makes me appreciate everything that is good about this time of year.
Cheers and big breezes to you all!
