Sorry Cassa, I was looking for something specific

but I get your point. Not surprisingly, though I have to disagree. But I am totally amazed by the strenght of feeling against Gillard and to me the strength of feeling against her seems disproportionate to the issues.
It seems to me that she can do nothing that ticks the boxes for the mainstream of Australia. Then I look at the issues she's taken on in her first year.
Plain packaging on cigs...... I cant believe anyone would oppose that.
The introduction of the paid parental leave scheme..... same deal, the Libs had a scheme at the last election, so I wouldn't think that's a big vote loser.
The introduction of the Carbon Tax, OK, so only an idiot would think that that's not become divisive, but really, when you consider that the coalition under Howard went to an election with a carbon tax as policy and Gillard and the Labor party have been trying to get this up for, christ ,it seems like a decade, then is this some big surprise for the electorate?.
The NBN, same thing . I would have thought it would have been recieved with moderate support but it seems EVERYTHING this government does is going to end the world and everybody in it!
The mining tax, really!!!! the electorate are prepared to die in a ditch to save the profits of Gina,Twiggy and that other bloke???????
OK what next, the live beef export controversy, there,ya see!, Ive done it myself, where's the controversy? the government reacts quickly to a issue......suspends live exports until the industry can GET THEIR **** TOGETHER, but somehow Gillard is portrayed as some sort of fool.
To me this sort of reaction is almost continuous.
And here's the news..... It's all noise..... noise made by lobby groups, shock jocks, right wing papers, everyone with an axe to grind is out there having a go. OK, fair enough, but remember this is a government with 2 years to run, lets see how the thing stacks up then.
