And it had an attachment with 8 pages of meaningless legalese garbage and space for my personal details inc bank accounts.

Now I know these guys are cheque fraud scammers. They want to pay me $450 per week for 3hrs work from home. Too good to be true? Yes, it is.
They will send fake cheques, get me to wire cash (minus my 5% fee) and then after they get the cash the fake cheque will bounce from the bank and I'll be out however much I wired.

So, I plan on sending back their form tonight. I will use my real phone number as they will call next to make sure I'm gullible. I will make up a bank a/c no and I'm planning to use the street address of police HQ in brisbane as the place to send the fake cheques. I will use 'Dave Chekfoord' as my name. See if the coppers put it together

Be sure your phone is not listed as I heard that they are affiliated with the Russian mob and have no sens of humour...... guy I (almost) knew in an other life, city.... played silly and kept a few grands that was credited to his acc in lieu of redirecting to the nominated acc. minus his commission. Had the visit of 2 big Maori bro and got a good old bashing on his front door! Next day he received a call from the” boss” to remind him he was late crediting the money!
Went to cops and they told him that money was coming from transferring money from accounts accessed illegally. The poor guy was so scared he had to change address and all!

Hmm that puts a twist on it. I'll use my work number instead, then they won't know which Dave they're looking for

here is the contract
https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=1ouYYRx42rOITyiLTwDht1NM_FOWls6ezFsrScdXIJk_22PNtCope3cLnotDK&hl=en

Contract

Phone number is the local Noodle bar, staffed by my sub-continental friends.
English not so good.

I guess that's where it will end, but tbh I can't be assed printing, filling out, scanning so I'll just send this back and see if they email back.

There are people that string these guys along for entertainment, as clearly you are. Sounds like fun.

Galah posted this link before and it gives a guide (indepth guide) as to how to do it and what to avoid.

Check it out and be carefull www.419eater.com/html/baiting.htm

Yeah, they found your details from your resume on Seek, how much about you do they already know?

I wouldnt like to pee them off too much. They have a very low value on human life.

My guess is that they did not find his details on "seek.com." I can't see the scammers paying for such details, and I don't think the details are out there for all to view, not that I've checked, but I'd be very suprised.

I would say that this is the line they use, (actually got the details elsewhere less secure) and given the number of seek resumes out there, they would get a certain strike rate.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Get a voip number of sorts instead, I think there are plenty of companies out there. I recall even skype has option to get a "real number".

This will make it harder for them to trace you down.

Have fun
