you may have installed a rubbish app recently and allowed microphone use. i think the trashy apps are less scrupulous about what they lusten for, mic on the whole time not just for app etc. android is part of the problem u allow mic for an app wholus bolus not partially.
i kinda like it. its convenient and i dont really care about privacy.
its not 100% though. for example my wifes phone is full of ads for treatments about tiny penisis and she doesnt even have a penis!

Bingo, 3 from 3. I was talking about cooking dumplings last night, and this morning I have ads on my phone for dumpling making moulds.

Every time I have a chocolate or large bowl of ice cream, the kids say "Dad, stop eating junk, you'll have a heart attack". I better tell them to keep it down, otherwise my life insurance premiums will sky-rocket.
