Once again The J's is putting on the Impossible Music Festival.

It's a pretty impressive lineup

If I remember rightly

ACDC is with Bon Scott at a Sydney Pub
The Police is their first Aussie tour before they shot to stardom
Radio Birdman

Take your pick theres something for everyone.

Would love the BBC to do similar as their Live at the Beeb catalogue would be mindblowing

Very different line up this year. Metallica 2004 wtf??? Their best concerts are from the late 80's.

A couple of those have made it in every year so far, AC/DC & Oils and I think Fatboy Slim, the Black keys and White stripes.

A couple of standout concerts from previous years missing too Underworld and Placebo just off the top of my head.

For those In WA who want to listen on the streamed version don't forget to allow for the 2 hours time difference.

The computer plays on Eastern standard time

I didn't think Kings of Leon were that good, he sounds sort of like a half baked Eddie Veder.

Oils (ok i'm biased) were awesome, it was good they played an earlier set from them instead of the usual goat island gig.

Black keys, the grates, ac/dc, hilltop hoods were good. Bernard Fanning though i'm not a fan of his solo stuff, was excellent.

Bit annoyed I missed a few good ones.

If anything was going to be called the cat's pyjamas, it'd have to be JJJ's Impossible Music Festival!

What a great concept!

Won tickets once to Live at the wireless, ABC studio's in Melbourne too see Eskimo Joe. Was absolutely awsome, No more than 100 special guests and studio sound was simply superb.
And the funny thing is that it is replayed on a Monday Arvo. I was out sailing and haven a few ales and come in evry now and then to swig that cold one out of the esky and i could here myself whistling and cheering on the radio.

Think i had a few of them ales before i went to the gig.
